![]() You cannot bring your own food for the animals. things that I couldn’t find anywhere online about this place!ġ. Ok, long read, but I’ll cover everything you need to know. Good for Families with any age child (mines 19) had a blast! Sorry no fainting goats, would have loved seeing those! But did have miniature horse! Keep your camera ready, especially for the long neck Giraffes were very gentle but they do slobber! They did like to bend down and look in the buses open windows. ![]() Tickets are cheaper if bought on line but not bad at the venue. They do have a dining area inside the ticket area or your welcome to use the picnic tables in the shade. The staff was super nice and very helpful. ![]() If not, all I can say is don’t go, cause that’s the main attraction – Animals. Honestly, you’ll have a great time, if you’re into exotic animals. My favorite was the Cyrus cat from Africa and the baby giraffe. There you can see more Big Cats, Alligator, Baboons, Spider Monkeys, McCalls, reptiles, and many, many more species. After the ride don’t forget to visit what they call the Walk-About. Super nice way to send a few hours with unique animals that you can get up close with not like a zoo’s. You can take in your own car or even rent a van to drive through yourself, but I do recommend the bus you’ll learn more and have a great time. Drivers can be tipped if you enjoy the trip around the grounds, which takes about an hour. The Driver was well informed and told jokes- don’t be afraid to groan or laugh. The children on the bus were thrilled to be so close. You wild see Camels Rheas, Ostriches, Emus and Zedonks. Loved the Giraffes there was a male, female and a baby, also Bison, Elk, Watusi, Zebras, Caur, Fallow Deer plus a family of pot-bellied pigs. He told us which ones we could reach out and pet and the ones to only throw the pellets of food out for, so to keep from getting us and them injured. The Driver’s name was “Jack” and told us about each of the types of animals around us. Once in the park area- It was hilarious- the bus was immediately surrounded by different kind of animals. the buses are designed like a stripped zebra. (Honesty once you see them you want to give them a bunch) The wait to load the bus was not long. DO NOT GIVE AWAY ALL YOUR TREATS AT ONCE! There are so many animals on the 1 hour tour so buy a lot or be thrifty with treats. Checking in we purchased 1 souvenir Cup and one Large Bag of animal treats in the Ticket building. We decided that while there to also take the guided bus ride, to see the animals. My main reason to go, was to collect the elongated pennies from the penny machine. Took a Saturday and visited the Wind Animal Safari in Pine Mountain GA.
